Whether you are wanting to kickstart your journey and get some quick wins, you are looking for a monthly tune up to keep you moving on your goals, or you are prepping for a special event where you want to look and feel your best, the 3 Day Refresh is a great option for you.

There are a lot of reasons to do a 3 Day Refresh, but this time I'm doing to for two reasons. 1- I need to sweep out the sugar bugs that got me the last few weeks.

2- I want to look and feel my best for my upcoming girls trip where we'll be doing photo shoots, making lasting memories and just seeing the city.

Some may think that reason is a bit vain, but I'm going to take a stab in the dark that 90% of you would do the same thing. There is no shame in wanting to look and feel your best for an event.

What is the 3 Day Refresh? Well I'm glad you asked! ;-) It's a 3 day "cleanse" of your body that consists of three daily shakes, a fiber drink, plenty of filtered water, plus a wide array of fresh fruits, veggies and healthy fats throughout the day to keep your energy up and metabolism going.

Though the meal plan is super simple it offers many alternatives, including some creative ways to prepare your meals, so you'll see that you can actually enjoy eating healthy food without having to season it in ways that can damage your health and undermine your weight-loss goals.

How does it work? Upon waking - 8-12 oz of water Breakfast- within an hour of waking *Shakeology + a fruit Mid-Morning: Fiber Sweep Lunch- *Vanilla Fresh shake + a fruit + a veggie + a healthy fat Afternoon Snack- *Fruit option + veggie Dinner- *one of the dinner recipes from the book (there are several to choose from, all veggies)

Day 1: Water first and pre-program pics.

No one enjoys taking progress photos on day 1... but I've learned over time that they are the BEST when it comes to seeing results later. We change with ourselves so it's sometimes hard to see things with our own eyes, especially if the mean girl is still in your head. So snap the "before photos", save them somewhere or share them with a friend for more accountability, like I'm doing here.

The last week there was some yucky bug in my digestive tract and the BRAT diet was the only thing that kept me out of the bathroom. However, all of those carbs and lack of fibrous veggies took its toll on my energy levels and body shape. I'm ready to kick the plethora of carbs to the curb and get back to my balanced body and higher energy levels!

Day 1- in the bag...

Sundays are a good day to start b/c day 1 is where all the temptations haunt you and when you're gone for church or out of the house, I do better. :-)

I was never hungry, but I did find myself wandering in the kitchen. I always caught myself and never gave in.

Mindless eating is a BIG thing and why so many of us feel like we eat healthy, but still don't see the results we want. We are just eating too much.... anything out of proportion is a bad thing.

I developed a headache after lunch... sign I need more water. I'll be sure to pump it up on Monday AND I'm for sure getting in a workout... we'll see how tired I am if I give in to energize or not... to be a full cleanse I should't have it.... but I do love it so. ;-)

Day 2!! Woohoo!

All the good feels today, headache was gone when I woke up. Felt fantastic to move my body and I only had 1/4 scoop of energize in lots of water this am. 🥰

I drank more water, stayed out of the kitchen and with the ball game tonight in the cold I’m pretty sure I burned some more calories trying to stay warm!!

One more day tomorrow and it’s a wrap. It feels so good to stick to a plan like this and know I’m doing something good for my body. Bye bye sugar bugs!!

Day 3 in the books!!

I had more temptations today with making up field trip prep for whole I’m gone... I didn’t drink enough water today. 😕 I was really crummy at taking pics today 🤷🏼‍♀️ Results coming tomorrow morning!

FINAL RESULTS! Right in time for me to head off on our fun girls trip! <3 * Down 4 pounds and 3 inches in just 3 days :-) * Slept like a ROCK! * Feel SO much better and my head is in a better place too b/c I KNOW I can resist the cravings! Endurance in fitness, Endurance in LIFE! So true here!

I can go into the trip feeling confident, healthy and be my best to be with some of my best friends!
